We are currently looking to recruit for the following vacancies:

Residential Child Care Worker

  • Have an interest in working with children or young people.

  • Be highly motivated and have a genuine interest in caring for young people in a residential setting.

  • An HNC or degree level qualification is desirable along with an SVQ 3 in Social Services, However, training will be provided for appropriate candidates.

  • A full driving licence is essential.

This post is considered Regulated work with vulnerable children, under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland 2007).

Successful candidates will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG scheme update check prior to a formal offer of employment being made.

This position also requires registration with the SSSC. The successful candidate will have six months from commencement in this post to register with the SSSC.
